There'll be games, activities, face-painting, balloon artist, snow cones, footy and fishing as we come together to celebrate National Children’s Week with the theme: Play!

Circle of Security

Parenting can be tricky for everyone at one point or another.

Circle of Security provides a roadmap for parents to look beyond their child’s behaviours and develop an understanding of how to meet their child’s underlying needs they are expressing.

Circle of Security focuses on the relationship we have with our children, so we can give them the emotional security they need.

When:
Commences Tuesday 14th March (Runs for four weeks)

Dates: March 14th, 21st, 28th, 4th April 2023

Time: 10.30 am – 12.30 pm

Where: Elermore Vale Community Centre, 129 Croudace Rd, Elermore Vale

Providing practical answers to everyday parenting concerns!

Muloobinba is offering Triple P to all Indigenous Families children aged 3-8 years.

You’ll recieve a certificate of participation.

When: Commences Friday 10th March (Runs for three weeks)

Time: 10.30 am – 2:00 pm

The day will consists of finalising the canvases from Tuesdays Program. This will take place on Muloobinbas property in Laguna. Lunch will be provided and we will visit some cultural sites and we will participate in other activities.

LOCATION Meet at Muloobinba for bus at 9am to be transported to Laguna Property - Return to office at 4pm.

AGES Children aged 5- 18years

BBQ lunch provided

Muloobinba in partnership with Aunty D and Luke Russell will be teaching how to make a Traditional Fish and Eel trap program.

Children and Young People from ages 8-18 years old will be taught by Aunty D and Luke Russell how to make local Traditional Fish and Eel traps, they will also learn why these traps were pivotal to collecting food and when this would traditionally occur.

Lunch will be supplied and other activities like fishing, swimming and games will be available to do to help break up the day. Children and Young People are asked to wear enclosed shoes, hats, weather-appropriate clothes and to bring a water bottle and change of clothes.
